Short Blog 4 — Comment on Tehreem Chohan’s Long Blog 1
Hi Tehreem,
I was surprised while reading your post because I feel the exact same way when it comes to watching my younger sister go to school. I watched her go to school in September and then suddenly change to at-home learning because the cases were rising rapidly. Since we started university online in the first place, we don’t know what it’s like to go through this change. I could relate to your siblings and other students not learning well in the system, because my sister also complained about how the change created too much confusion. For example, she told me that assessments like quizzes and tests are no longer like in the past, and she was confused about how she was getting graded. Like your siblings, she’s also worried that she will have a harder time when she starts attending high school due to the fear of not knowing enough to catch up with the material. I also hope to see the Premier and the Education Minister make changes to the current learning system for students to stay on track and not fall behind.
